How we can help
We're happy to hear from you about:
- Corrections. If something in a guide is wrong or out of date, tell us which page and what the official source says. Corrections are our top priority.
- Tool problems. Let us know your device, browser, and what happened. Please don't send us your photo.
- Privacy requests. Ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it.
- Suggestions. Ideas for new guides or tools are always welcome.
We usually reply within a few business days.
Before you write
Many questions are answered in our FAQ and guides. If you're reporting a problem with a tool, it helps to include:
- the tool you were using,
- your device and browser (for example, iPhone with Safari), and
- what you expected to happen and what happened instead.
What we can't help with
We're an independent website, not a government agency. We can't check the status of a passport or visa application, change an appointment, approve a photo, or give legal advice. For those, contact the agency handling your application directly — for U.S. passports, that's the U.S. Department of State's National Passport Information Center, which you can find through travel.state.gov.
Please don't include passport numbers, Social Security numbers, photos of documents, or other sensitive details in your message.
